My dad planned a big trip to Moab for my mom's 60th birthday. We all committed a long time ago and he wanted to wait and tell her a little closer to when we were going - but she was getting anxious about making sure she had something fun to do on her time off around the big day. He was afraid she was going to book a trip and so he told her and she was WAY excited. This trip was heaven. Everything about it was so good. The house my dad rented was awesome. It was just a bummer that Shane and Austin and Tanner couldn't make it down due to work and school stuff. We had to leave a little later than planned cause we had a huge snow storm that morning and traffic was a mess. But by the time we left it was pretty smooth sailing. At the top of the canyon before heading down into Price there was snow and white out and stuff on the roads but it was only for about 10 minutes, thank goodness. We stopped at KFC and Taco Time in Price.
That night we ran to the store to get the rest of the food we needed for the trip and the kids just explored and played in the big new territory. So fun. We took our sweet time the next morning because it was chilly! But the plan was Delicate Arch that day. It was beautiful! Kids all did awesome. There was no complaining and they all hiked the whole way. It was so much fun.
Exposure was a little off on this one - but I still like it and Heather in it. |
