Misc November

November took a steep downward turn in activity level :) We did a LOT more in the summer and fall. But that's ok. These pictures were from our neighbor Bayli Dean's wedding. It was a beautiful reception! So cool. It had been a long day and the kids were all over the day in general so we didn't stay very long.

They get in the slime mood sometimes. This is metamucil slime. Harvey can play with it for hours. Greta gets disinterested much faster.

The girls joined me for parent teacher conference and they had this little scene in the entry way of Harvey's school kind of coinciding with the winter book fair. had to take some photos.

Had a nice enough day that we were outside doing sidewalk art. I drew the outline of the butterfly and Harvey decorated it all himself. And was pretty proud so we took a picture.
This is just a random picture Greta drew and I tried to edit it some to make it easier to visualize but looking at it now I don't think it really helped. I love seeing kids artwork. Like seriously love it.
We took Harvey to the Lantern House homeless shelter in Ogden to help serve lunch on a Saturday morning. When we first got there the guy said he couldn't be on the "line" unless he was 10 or 12 or something. I was pretty bummed to think he was gonna have to just sit the whole time. But then it was clarified that he just couldn't do anything hot, so he got to be the queso sprinkler and he did SO good. It was adorable. He smiled and said "you're welcome" and was a perfect little helper. He lost interest after about an hour or so and then got to use my phone for the last little bit, but it was a good first experience. Something we'll definitely do again!

I LOVE this picture!
Yep - more artwork.
These two...haha.
And these two.  (Heart eyes!)
We got to hang out with Brooke one day. Glory. We got delicious bahn mi food and went to a super fun park. This is the only picture I took. Not great. But Lottie was being cute in the leaves and trying to throw them up and such. And also I include it as a way to remember that day :)

Having tons of fun with a car seat box.
We hit up Disney on Ice again. This time Laura and Lucy and Lottie joined us. It was as fun as I remember the first one being! The girls all liked it a lot. Lottie was pretty tired but did good for the most part. They did a big Toy Story 3 thing and it was awesome. Such cool costumes and everything. Then Cars - which also was cool. And they did Frozen and now I'm blanking on the other one they did. The girls obviously LOVED Frozen! So cute. Oh ya - Little Mermaid. It was really fun.
I wish we would have stopped and taken pictures before - because my girls were NOT interested in pictures after. Lottie is crying and Greta is grumpy for one reason or another. Lucy is cute and smiling at least. I just loved their cute little attire!
Oh this is a cute baby! We just love her. And Greta is the  CUTEST little mom cousin! My girls name all their babies "baby Rory". I feel like I get to bond a little more with this one because I don't have a new baby myself like when Clara and Lottie were born.

So tired and trying to have kids play on their so I could catch a quick little rest led to this.
We had a couple weeks of sickness during the beginning of November. Croup ran through and we had some puking and diarrhea as well. Not so fun. So we had a lot of cuddles and movie time. Everyone looks pretty happy here :) I love these kids!

Now NOT feeling so good :(
Little dress rehearsal for Greta's dance. Oh my goodness she is so cute! I need to include her practice dance because I think it's even cuter than the official one. And we were SO proud of Lucy for dancing so good when she gets a little nervous to come to class etc. I love that they are in the same class and I love how much Greta loves it (although she still does get a little shy). Who knows how long we'll do it - as long as she wants I guess but I really think it's been such a great thing for her!

A short and sweet little program from Harvey. I think each Kindergarten class sang one song that was less than 2 minutes each. Maybe 1 minute each. Haha.
They had the recital at a nursing home which was a lovely idea and cute but not super convenient for all the families watching :) That's okay though. Hopefully it did bring them a little cheer.

Our neighbors dog got some surprise puppies! So fun to go over there here and there to watch them grow a little!

This is how I like to eat sprinkles too :)

More not feeling good. Poor kids. We had a few rough days. Diarrhea on the carpet from Harvey. Puke in the night from both kids. Hers was on the carpet and all over her hair and clothes. Multiple showers. Waking up to puke and diarrhea. This is the first time we've really had anything like that and I hope it's a LONG time before the kids go through it again. (and us!)
We did another nice thing this month :) I signed up to serve lunch at the Ronald McDonald house the Monday before Thanksgiving and Brooke and her parents came to help! My dad was supposed to too but the night before was the diarrhea and vomit night. So he ended up coming up to watch the kids while I went. I felt so bad but it worked out. It would have been really hard with the kids. It was really fun to all work together and it turned out great. We talked to several families. A few that were there with toddlers with brain cancer. Ugh. It's been kind of stressful with Tanner's job and some other things lately but man oh man that sure puts things into perspective. I'm SO incredibly grateful for our healthy kids and all that we have. I feel heartbroken for the kids and families that are enduring so many more hardships.

Cute little snow bunnies! We got TONS of snow over Thanksgiving. So much. And we got out ONCE. I feel like the worse mom. And we haven't hardly got any good snow since. Lots more rain. Lame.

A few pics from a movie night from Tanner while I was at work. Cutest kids.

Just kill me now. Harvey READING a book to his little sister and her laying down listening to him. Everything about this is just heart exploding.
And how about this darling little Pilgrim!?!?!

The day after Thanksgiving we got our tree and all our decorations out. I loved it. The one holiday I actually decorated for this year. So excited for the Christmas season!

He was getting into the Christmas spirit! I love him.

We had a fun day of celebrating Adi's baptism and also had a bday party for Logan that day (November 30th).

And more artwork. Harvey did this all by himself. That's us holding hands. I have killer hair.
