Misc May

We moved the end of March and Greta still had preschool so Lottie and I had lots of days to kill time. One of the days we walked along the rock path. Super great views of the temple. And Lottie asked me about 15 times to take her picture by different rocks. I included 4 :)

I don't remember exactly but I think this was a picture Laura sent me when she was watching the kids.
A picture of the garden. I was pretty proud of it (and now that I'm a couple months late in doing May...I'm very sad to have had to leave it). Most things did pretty good. A cucumber plant died pretty soon after planting. And a lot of the things got some weird yellow leaves so I think I need to figure out what caused that. It was a good experiment and I'm convinced I want a garden in the new house.
We went with my friend, Emily - the girls dance teacher - and her younger 2 girls on the Farmington trail. It was really fun.

Sidewalk chalk at Laura's. I should have taken a picture of the kids next to their pictures cause we made them look like what they were wearing.

Selfie's from Greta...

Laura and I went to a park while boys were at school. They took my phone and were taking pictures around the park and took a bunch of selfies which are just kind of funny to me.

A lovely brachiosaurus drawing by Harvey.
Tanner was awesome and got tickets to Les Mis at Hale Theater well in advance - which was great because it sold out fast. He got a couple for Clare and Berrie too and so we all went together. It was SO DANG GOOD. Like incredible. Can't say enough good about it. It was beautiful, the voices were insanely good and the way they did all the scenes and special effects, etc etc. HOLY CRAP. We were all dying with how good it was. So so so fun!
The boys had a great soccer season! Here's a few from the spring part of it. I don't think they lost any of their games the whole year. They had some good players and did pretty good as a team and Harvey improved a lot!

William, Mason, Harvey, Quentin, Brody (his dad was the coach and he is really good, but kind of a ball hog. haha)

Biscoff cake I made for Laura's surprise 30th birthday party. I was pretty proud of it and it was amazing. The party was kind of sad because the weekend we could do it was apparently really bad for everyone else. But I still thought it was really fun :)

Cute pup.
The prince saving the princess.
Harvey earned a prize for doing his jobs good and he picked Peyton to come to the Layton Fun Center with him. It was really fun! They had a great time and I chased them around a little bit and they wore me out!

Adam's Canyon with Laura! One of my favorite things with one of my favorites.

We had a park day with some friends. Avery, Greta, Peyton, Lucy and Lottie. Poor Leo (Avery's little brother), tripped on the steps and cut the corner of his lip. Luckily it wasn't an ER visit.

I can't for the life of me remember where this picture was taken.
Another day of trying to kill time while Greta was in preschool. We went up on the Bonneville shoreline trail up at Fernwood and wandered for a bit and got a little rained on and it was beautiful!

Last day of dance! We had some rough goes with Lottie towards the end. She started throwing fits and not wanting to go or not wanting to do any of the dance stuff or whatever. I think we are still going to try it next year and give her another shot. I didn't get a picture of Greta's class but Greta can't love dance any more!
Preschool preview for Lottie! She was pretty nervous when we got there and wasn't sure she wanted to go. But then she walked up and went with Miss Jackie. She told the parents all to not cry and be tough and it was funny how she was doing it but I totally teared up and felt like really torn up about it. And then when it was done an hour later, Lottie came out and walked toward me with a scowl on her face and when I picked her up she said I'm so MAD at you! and then punched me in the stomach. Haha. I guess she didn't like that I left her there. Her answers about it ranged from it being fun to horrible to maybe ok. Unfortunately she's not even going to be going there, which I'm sad about. We couldn't find a place to live up north and so I didn't want to commute kids all up north so we are keeping them down in Kaysville until we move.

Get Air with Annie and Avery and Leo. I'm a big fan of Annie! Avery was in Greta's preschool class and so we met that way. Wish we would have started hanging out at the beginning of the year! She's super awesome and I hope we can become really good friends.

Last day of preschool for Greta! Feeding the ducks, playing at the park and certificate's and popsicles.

High school besties! We all went to Amber's 40th birthday party. So great to see them all and catch up!
My mom came over one day while my dad was out of time and walked up to the church up the street with the kids while they rode their bikes around.
