Misc August

We got to celebrate sweet Clara's 1st birthday at the beginning of the month. Laura did a super cute watermelon themed party at the park. It was so much fun!

Goof balls

I love this picture.

Some super cute getting along play time while Lottie was a sicky pants.
My friend Andrea who lives in Blanding was up for a bunch of stuff this summer. We got together and attempted a hike and Millcreek picnic but it actually was a cold rainy day and we were NOT prepared for that. So we hiked for a bit and then picnicked at McDonalds. Oops. Our intentions were good. I was bummed we couldn't spend more time outside but the kids loved the play place.

Oh, I LOVE that smile!!

Park day! And a HUGE pile of ants.

Harvey found this at Winco and I wouldn't let him get it (at first). He wanted me to take a picture of it so we could remember to tell santa or something. I caved for one reason or another but still like his face :)
Late summer sprinkler party. I love these of them holding hands!

Crafting with the goods we got from Gram and Pop at our "Easter" summer campout.

He ALWAYS is asking to play Pie Face.

Got to squeeze in a temple trip with K before she moved to San Diego.

We finally got around to booking a pedi trip with the gift cards my mom got us for Mother's Day. It was a last hurrah too before Kathryn moved.

Special Dad and son trip to In 'N Out. Love their faces.
We tried out a park down in Bluffdale. Super far away but super duper cool park. It was kind of cool and crazy windy, so that part kind of sucked, but the kids didn't seem to mind. We met Brooke there and my mom and Kathryn came with Ben and Julie's kids.

These pictures make me so happy. We were about to leave but walked past this spot and they ended up playing for a minute and then a lot more minutes and got SOAKED. But they were SOOO happy and it was precious.

We had a CRAZY storm roll through. Giant hail! It was so cool to watch! Harvey thought the giant hail was pretty awesome too!
How he came out when I told him to get ready for something...
Greta likes pushing this and Lottie LOVES being in it.

One of my cousins, Stephanie, had a pretty far along pregnancy when the baby passed away. They did a little grave side service which was really sweet, special and so sad. They had been trying for a long time and had had a miscarriage already. There's a lot of heartache in the world. I'm impressed, being exposed to so many people going through so much hard stuff, with how much faith they all are exhibiting. I hope I would do the same, but doubt that I would, but also don't want to find out.
We got to take Harvey on a one on one date that was SO fun. It was so fun being able to dedicate all our attention to him and he soaked it all in! We went and saw Pinocchio at Hale Theater and then ate at Rio Grande Café. I loved it and so did T and Harvey!

Walkin', eatin' ice cream cones, and wearin' socks with flip flops. What's better than that!?

Zoo trip with Laura!

We finally did it! Kathryn gave us her bed when she moved and we took the plunge. She has done awesome so far! Much better than I was expecting. She was very ready though! So fun to have her in a big girl bed and Lottie officially in the crib!
Harvey is pretty obsessed with Lottie right now. Almost daily he says how much he loves her, that he can't even stand it!! And he wants her to stay a baby forever.
