Misc July

My high school friend Amber had her 4th girl the middle of July and we went to visit her one day. This is the only picture I took. Cute big sisters ;)

We met Julie and kids and Laura at the Foxboro splash pad. Tons of fun. I didn't take Lottie's swimsuit which she wasn't super happy about. She loves water. Don't know what I was thinking.

Holy precious. And a lucky timing, lucky walk by, lucky my phone was close to snap this while it was happening.
Post firework trauma recovery.

Then Foxboro again with my friend Steff and her two youngest. Lottie got wet this time :)

Hudson is like 4 days younger than Lottie. So cute.

July 10th Harvey had his first dentist appointment. He was so excited. And he was SO brave. The only time he seemed nervous was having the bite down things in his mouth getting all the xrays. He looked at me once and I thought he might cry or wig out but he got it together and I was so proud of him. He got to watch some dragon show on the ceiling and did everything the hygienist and dentist asked him to do.

A little summer gathering with the Niederhauser's and some of the Smith's, their good friends (also brothers of Casey, who was recently diagnosed with an uncurable brain tumor).

A little afternoon pie face with mom and dad. Greta wouldn't do it ;)

A temple he drew in his primary class. I'm impressed with his mirror imaging. I love that he's starting to free lance draw - or whatever you call it.

Hanging out at Arctic Circle. Haha. Hanging.

This was the best day. I got a babysitter for the morning and met my mom and sisters at the Bountiful Temple, which was awesome. Then we went to lunch at Plates and Palates in Bountiful, which was delicious and then we sat and talked forever. It was so heavenly and much needed.
Intermission of the day for some cute pictures Harvey requested I take.

And then I finally got to use my mother's day gift card. Foot soak, 50 minute massage, facial and a pedicure. Holy. Heaven. It was amazing. The masseuse was amazing. The facial incredible. And the girl that did my pedicure was fun. And I did it in the evening so I came home to kids put to bed and me being able to just get in bed and let the relaxation and magic of the day continue sinking in. Tanner is awesome. The End.

Precious moment caught on camera by Tanner.

Harvey's first talk in primary. Proud mama moment. Tanner snuck this photo and I love it. He did so good. He even helped write it. It was on family's and he said what he loved about everyone in his family and what he liked to do with them. I threw in a blurb from the family proclamation and he helped think of a few things he could do to help his family be strong.

My parents threw a little party at their house after they got back from Alaska and had this pool and a delicious bbq and then a fun slide show of their trip. Love spending time at their house :)

I am obsessed with this girl. Stop growing. For a bit, anyway.

Her crossed legs kill me. She does it all the time. I love it. And put both these pictures in just because I think her face and such is so precious.

Round 2 of swim lessons.

This actually was the morning of the 14th I believe. One of our good friend's from high school lost their almost 3 year old to an undiagnosed brain tumor. He had had a few headaches in the weeks or so before and then got really bad on the 4th and they took him in and he died on the 5th. I had been sick about it ever since I heard. I still am. I met Andrea for breakfast before the funeral and we went together. It was painful. Awful. Heartbreaking. Sobbing. But also so faith building and sweet and beautiful. Allison and her husband, Nate are amazing. They talked so much about how grateful they were they got to be his parents and for their faith and for the plan of salvation. It was impressive. But gosh. My heart aches so much for that loss and the grief they will experience for this entire mortal life. Ugh. So so so sad.
?? He was being a ninja or something and wanted me to take his picture. Haha. He's so full of character. It's amazing, funny and exhausting :) We are loving our summer! I feel like it's going by so fast and I feel guilt and stress and bad that we haven't done EVERYTHING. And then I punch myself in the face for thinking that because we have been doing tons of stuff and it's been so fun and there's no way we could do everything and there is no need to feel pressure to do MORE. There is nothing wrong with doing less. But I am loving the memories we are making that are documented by the millions of pictures that I can not help myself from taking.
