Misc October

Greta is getting her chance at goalie. She did pretty good actually. I think this game she actually scored too! And mimi gave her a dollar or two. Soccer might not be in her blood but she has fun and does a pretty good job!

There's a never ending supply of crap stuck in this spot of our house because it's the only place for it. We were trying to get ready for our yurt trip that didn't happen because of the dumb weather. I was so sad. So were the kids. But they liked sitting and hanging out on the air mattresses before we took everything back to the storage unit.
We (I) collected leaves on our fall hikes and we did a little craft with them. Except for Harvey cause he doesn't care about crafts as much as the girls :)

I had a little date with Greta one afternoon while Lottie was in school. She wanted to go for a little walk to find the swing that was around the Kaysville ponds and then wanted to walk on the path by the Nelson's house where we used to live. Then some frozen yogurt! So fun. She's a doll and so fun and I love one on one time with her (and all the kids)!

I don't even know.
Finally broke down and got Harvey a few legit church clothes. And he looks like a huge stud.

Before everyone was off for Fall break we went over to Get Air - and they replaced the dodge ball area with this huge bounce house thing. So awesome. The kids really liked it!

First lost tooth!

Tanner had a work party one night of our Fall break and I took the kids to the Kaysville theater to see Adams Family 2. Super fun!

Little side hair business gig going on with neighbor friends.

Not sure why we were down at my parents this particular day, but kids had baths and we were waiting for clothes to dry and so they borrowed some t-shirts. Haha.

Lottie got to do a little field trip to a pumpkin patch for preschool. Boston got to hang out with us. He's so awesome. Lottie has a crush on him, she says :)

Heather requested a chocolate cherry cake for Austin's 18th birthday. Well, I guess he requested it and then she requested it of me. Probably my best work, inside and out. Turned out pretty amazing.

Primary program. Kids killed it. Lottie sang her heart out - well so did Greta and Harvey sang some which was impressive. I was just super impressed with how well Lottie knew so many words to all of the songs. She did great, unless she got a little distracted and turned around or pulled up her dress to flash the congregation. They did great on their parts too. They had them all memorized but needed a little help when it came right down to it - but no big deal at all. They spoke clear and perfectly in the mic and were so cute.

These girls. So dang cute! Annie sent me these when she picked up Avery on her birthday.

Spider house walk for preschool....

Lottie was SOOOO excited about this cookie she made especially for dad. And dad was super cute about it when she gave it to him, despite his natural aversion to candy corn, etc.

I helped out with Avery's birthday party - and making her cake. But made Annie help a little too ;) Cake turned out ok. I wasn't super stoked with the finished product. I have a lot to figure out with my frosting and consistency, etc.

New haircut. He was pretty mad about having to go but then LOVED it when he got it. Couldn't stop looking at himself in the mirror and said he always wanted to go to that place to get it cut and to have it cut the same. Handsome boy!

I think these are some random pics I stole from Instagram from kids at their fall festival thing.

She thought she was pretty cool with those socks. And had to have her pants up to show them off, and then hands in pockets..."do I look cool, mom?" That was an exact quote associated with this picture.

Some hanging out with cousins at Laura's during one or two of the many times she has helped me out with kids!

Crazy that another fun filled month has passed. Grateful we are still healthy and doing good in our apartment. One month closer to house being finished :)
