Misc December

December was a really fun month and we had a lot of "miscellaneous activities" given the holiday and our advent. This is all the stuff that didn't really fit in with the already 2 post advent stuff :)

I was trying to get a cute picture of her because she looked so adorable with her pony's and bow and dress. She wasn't really cooperating. I mean, she still looks cute, but wasn't posing like I wanted.
But she is the most precious little sleeper - when she finally falls asleep. Man, she is a pill in trying to get to bed. She kept waking up early and waking Lottie up, so we have tried putting her in Harvey's bed, but then they stay up forever and it really is her being a pest and the one that won't calm down. But when she leaves Harvey's room early, she doesn't wake him up. So I don't know what the answer is - an extra room upstairs?

We've actually gotten some good snow this year and this is the first and only time they've been out to play in it. I'm a terrible mom. They never last very long so maybe I'm just lazy. But they were cute running around out there.

We got to watch Logan and Clara for a couple hours while Laura had a baby doc appointment! Yay! Clara was being so cute so we snapped a few pictures for her mama.

Harvey's buddy from school got to go to McDonald's with Crew and his mom Laura. He loves Crew and loves the play place at McDonald's and the toy. Guess that's how they keep everyone coming back cause the food sure isn't why ;)

Mason and Carrie went on a cruise with her family and we got to watch Otto for the week. Harvey was in complete HEAVEN. He LOVED him and wanted him to sleep with him every night and always wanted to be close to him, etc. It was really cute. I think Harvey actually took this picture of him under our computer counter.

Christmas pajama party at preschool!

The day after my birthday, Brooke came up to hang out and let our kids play. We ordered thai food - I got Pho. And the kids played awesome so we actually had a couple of hours of mostly uninterrupted conversation. BEST. THING. EVER.

The giant prime rib we got for Niederhauser Christmas Eve Dinner.

Christmas jams from Gram :)

We had a good couple stretches of sickness in December. Weeks worth of snotty noses and once that cleared up, the kids all got crappy coughs with some runny noses too. This was too funny to not photograph or include.

Tanner's aunt passed away before Christmas and they had the funeral a couple days after Christmas and so he rode down to St. George with his parents and we spent some time at my parents. They watched the kids while I went to work one night. They played with Greta's new toy and Harvey wanted me to photograph his artwork. I included one - well, two - but he had taken like 3 of each cause he needs to get all the angles ;)

We did a puzzle which I had been "craving" doing a puzzle. It was 1000 pieces. Look how tiny it is compared to my dad's hands! Holy crap it took the WHOLE day. I was kind of a terrible mom but it was fun to sit and do it. I couldn't pull myself away though until it was completed.

I didn't pack good warm clothes and they wanted to do scooter rides or something and so my dad bundled them up in what they had. So cute.

Dolly from Grammy.

Tanner's gift he got for himself with the gift card to Amazon my parents gave us all.

The kids were actually pretty sick the Sunday before Christmas so none of them went to church. And the next week I left Lottie home with Tanner so she could sleep - so we never got the chance to show off their matching Christmas stuff, which saddened me. So I just dressed them all up anyway to take pictures and then Harvey and G looked cute for the Sunday after Christmas.

Tanner's best friend growing up was in town for the holidays and his son turned 4 on New Year's Eve and invited us to his birthday party at Get Air in Kaysville. I was so surprised how much everyone loved it. I figured Harvey would, and Greta likes jumping but she LOVED it. And so did Lottie. It was awesome. They had a blast and Lottie got ticked any time I tried to take her away from the small kid jumping area. At first it was hardly crowded at all so we were going all over the place. Then it started getting more crowded and it got more and more past her nap time and then the wheels started coming off. But it really was so fun!

She was so funny trying to dance and bounce and walk. These video's are just too cute.

While I was resting on bed, he came in to show me that he had taped up his face - "like a ninja". Haha.
And him explaining some of his art work :)
