Misc November

Now that my kids are a little bigger, they are much more aware of all the picture taking. So now they like to take a lot of pictures and also ask me to take pictures all the time. Greta wanted me to take this one. It's cute - so I kept it :)
My best friend from Peace Corps has a brother that lives in Moab. He got married the beginning of the month and so she flew in from Dakar for a short weekend. I got lucky and had her for the afternoon, night and a short morning. We tried to squeeze in a "hike". More a short, cold, kind of wet walk. Luckily it wasn't raining or snowing on us but it had been that day. I'm so glad we decided to push through it and go because it was SO gorgeous! And just misty and quiet and such a cool vibe happening! The kids were troopers too and latched onto Emily. She has two young boys just younger than Greta and Lottie. Greta made her help her go to the bathroom on the trail.

I think we went out to my parents on a Saturday just to spend the day because Tanner was doing something else (which I can't even remember) and we wanted a change of scenery. It was a fun day!

Shopping helper asked me to take her picture. It turned out adorable so of course I kept it too!

Harvey and Greta got into my jewelry I never wear. Harvey wanted a picture of him wearing everything. Cracks me up.

There was a nice November day and we decided to try the zoo. Tanner even skipped out on work and came with us! It was a bit chilly but not crowded at all and it was so fun!

A rare picture of Rozzie. Hairy, gray eyes.
Cute sisters during a library trip.

She's just so cute.

Just playing it cool at meal time.

Picture compliments of Greta.
Pictures compliments of Harvey.

Time out for Women weekend! We started out by eating at Core Life Eatery and it was AMAZING! I got some Korean beef bowl with an egg and kimchi (my first time ever trying kimchi and I liked it all a lot!) My friend Steff joined my mom and Laura. We met more aunts and cousins at the place. It was such a great weekend. I was hesitant last year but loved it and wasn't disappointed at all this year. Such a nice spiritual boost :)

And my mom got us all matching pjs and they are my new most favorite pajamas ever and I think these pictures are the ultimate awesome!

I am LOVING all of Harvey's drawings. I love so much that he can put his ideas into pictures. This is Harvey and I believe his dog and a spider and a brown meteor is about to crash into them all.

First primary program we've ever had with a kid in it. He looks so handsome. I was up on the stage with my primary class so I couldn't really see him. He said his part perfectly. Sometime after that he asked his teacher if he could come and ask me something and got a pretty hard NO! After that he started crying really bad and ended up going down to sit with Becky Perkins for the last half. Dang it. Oh well. I'm sure we'll have a little better luck next year. But the whole program in general was great!

This kid loves his legos!

And this girl LOVES books!
Oh - and all the plates and cups and bowls in the kid cupboard. Ugh. We need to lock that!

We got to play with Hudson and Oakley for a few hours one day. I think this pictures is so sweet of Greta and him.
And then the choke hold.

A very unfortunate end to some fun games of Harvey and Greta playing chase. I think she either tripped or got accidentally pushed/tripped by Harvey and hit her face in the side of the table really hard. Luckily not the corner and didn't end up with a giant gash. Just a nice bruise for a week.

Trying to take a picture of her unicorn horn but you can't tell very well how big it is the next day.
A picture of Harvey fishing in the ocean. He's the brown one on the ledge. There's an octopus and a shark and a meteor coming out of the sky going to crash into the ocean. Not sure why he's got such an obsession with meteors.
