Misc February

This month is kind of funny. Looking through all the pics when I uploaded them there's park and skiing and snow and inside stuff. Kind of a mix of everything. And even with two birthday parties in separate posts - this month was pretty packed! We had taken our St Patrick's day crafts up to Primary Children's that we did for our Christmas party, which I think I actually put in a different month's blog...but afterwards we stopped at the Clark Planetarium. Lottie got left home and unfortunately usually that makes things a lot easier.

I made a fort for the kids and they got to watch a movie and sleep in it. Always takes so long for them to actually fall asleep though, but it's fun for them and I feel like I actually did a cool mom thing.
We went to the mall to look for a birthday presents for Mimi and Greta wanted her picture taken next to the "pjs"…???
We were supposed to go cross country skiing into a yurt - Brooke and Jake and my dad and I. A huge storm rolled in before we were supposed to go and we ended up bailing - concerned about roads getting there and the trail to the yurt. It was exceedingly disappointing to say the least. We tried to make the most of it with a little ski day up millcreek. It was pretty and fun...but I'm still really sad we didn't make it to the yurt. Maybe next winter...

She just likes to pose in random places at stores...
Caught this SUPER precious moment of Lottie resting on Harvey and him just stroking her head for several minutes. SO CUTE!
Cute matchy matchy girls squared.

We introduced Crew to breakfast cake...for lunch :)

Doing the crystals Heather gave Harvey for his birthday.

And more playing with birthday toys.
Harvey's requested valentine's box.

Valentine's Day! Look at that cheese. Hahaha.

We actually spent a good chunk of the day back and forth from Farmington Station - getting new phones with T-Mobile. Then we played at the park and got to say hi to Heather when we were all done.
A couple little Valentine's activities with Laura and the crew...bingo and heart crafts.

DINNER! Holy crap best steak I've ever eaten.

We did fondue for dessert. Our kids need more mature palates I think :) But it was still fun!

The next morning I used some gift cards I had and we went and got pedicures! It was G's first one and she was a trooper! I was going to have them paint Lottie's too, but she freaked out when he tried to put cotton between her toes. The lady that did mine and Greta's was nice and sweet but had some neuro thing going on. She was SOOOO slow and SOOOO shaky. Oh well - it always feels good and I think Greta thought it was pretty cool.

We met up with Laura and Clara a little later and saw Frozen 2 at the Kaysville theater.

Park with dad after a Costco run. A little colder than the wimpy adults would have liked. Kids had a blast.

Love this picture!

I did stitches on a friend in the ward's mom and she gave me a gift card to PF Chang's. This was our dinner pre Banff date with Brooke and Jake.

Got into Greta's body glittler. Oops.

The girls got invited to a small little birthday party for my friend Ashley Stenquist's daughter, Savannah.

Another breezier, colder than we'd like park date...

Followed by theeee most perfect day skiing! Preston gave us a free pass and we took Harvey out of school and sister Laura watched the girls and we went and had a BLAST together. It was sooo fun and perfect and glorious being back on skis. Loved every minute of it!

Precious little pooper
And then a zoo day! Laura's pass had almost run out and so we made it a family affair and it was a GREAT day. Pretty minimal crowds and so beautiful! Wish I hadn't needed to rush off to work.

Everyone needed individual photos taken with the otter.

Greta finally got her first field trip! We missed the first one they had (to the grocery store) and they never went to the Treehouse Museum like Harvey did, and so we finally made it to her first. I think she enjoyed it. It was fun being with her...less fun dealing with Lottie...

This was a pj day at school and I don't know why they like to pose at these things...

I still just love all their artwork and writing and spelling and everyhing.
Greta is helping me bake her cake :)
And I obviously will never get enough of sleeping kid pics. It's really time we get her in a big girl bed...but for now...she still is my sweet little crib baby.
