These are not all perfectly in order either, but I did my best :) Disney was so fun. It also was terribly overwhelming and stressful and crowded. But for the most part, it was great. The kids loved it. We didn't get to do every ride. There were a couple I would have liked to but just with how our fast passes worked and timing and location, it just didn't happen. But we did do a handful of rides multiple times and it was so great. Greta had a few issues again, being nervous until she realized they were actually pretty fun. Not totally in love with any of our front gate pictures...but here...we...go!!!
This was our first ride and was super fun. Did it a few times.
Also a winner. They loved it.
The girls loved the car ride and we did it multiple times. Almost every time though there was some dumb issue with the cars not working so it was mostly just annoying for us. Haha.
Teacups without the boys...
Oh these glorious macs. I love them so much. This moment was almost my breaking point. We were all tired and hungry and trying to figure out where to eat and the kids wanted the macs and lines were long and someone said they were out of the macs and then I did a mobile order but it was going to take forever but ended up standing in line anyway cause someone said you could probably still get the macarons that way. Blah blah blah, finally ended up with food and macs and life was good. And they were worth the wait!
Oh man. I hope our kids forgive us for this one. The girls SCREAMED bloody murder the ENTIRE time on this ride. It was terrible. And we tried to protect Lottie from getting soaked, but to no avail. She was SOAKED and ticked. And it was late afternoon and her thick overalls had no chance of drying out and it was cold. So she got new pjs at Disneyland. This one was not gone on again. Hahaha.
Probably the greatest splash mountain picture ever.
Another meltdown of Greta thinking it was going to be the worst thing ever. She ended up loving it and we went on this 4-5 times I think over the two days. Another one they loved was the matterhorn but I don't think I got any pictures on that. We did that one at least 3 times.
Got great seats to the Christmas parade. That was fun and cute. Girls loved it more than Harvey I think.
The only princess the girls wanted to see was Belle. And this was our only sighting, unfortunately.
Star Wars Land was INCREDIBLE! We only did one ride over there - didn't want to wait in line for the newer one, even though we were told it was worth it. Maybe next time. But just the buildings and vibe and everything was so rad.
Not sure what the grump face is about. I think she's just faking it.
Day 1 - success. We didn't stay till close because we knew kids needed sleep. They were pooped and so were we and we didn't get long sleeps. We were up early to be at the parks every day bright and early. The first day we walked both ways (to the disney shuttle and back) and then walked to our hotel. Second morning we walked to shuttle but uber'ed home and the third day we uber'ed both ways and it was the right thing to do for sure! Day 2 was just as great. We had a little issue at space mountain with Greta again but then she decided she wanted to try it and loved it and so we did that like 3 more times. I love that ride. So fun. We did some new rides and hit up our favs multiple times.
And waited in line for princesses forever. No Belle, but still fun. Not sure it was worth it...but maybe girls disagree?
This were tasty sugar cookies! I enjoyed helping them! I got a cake pop which was amazing. Tanner got a chocolate chip cookie. And the pretzels were pretty tasty too. So many dolla dolla bills spent on all the food, but at least it was good and expensive and not just expensive.
Oops, I think these are all day one pics, but oh well. I'm not moving them.
While we were in line for a ride I guess some workers were sweeping up leaves and they made it into this shape and since it turned into a mickey shape they just left it instead of scooping it up. Tanner said their convo about what to do with it was pretty funny.
Some good space mountain pics. I missed downloading one I think, but these are pretty fun.
Harvey decided to do teacups with us day 2. Tanner has to sit out the too spinny moving sea sick ones.
Finished with Thunder Mountain Railroad - I think the overall winner. So much fun.
Sometimes I don't get the hype of Disney and then sometimes I agree with it just being amazing and magical and fun. I went through multiple emotions of wondering what we were thinking to loving the excitement and wonder the kids had experiencing it all and thinking we'd definitely come back and then again to never ever ever again. Haha. I'm sure we'll go back. Maybe in a few years when they can handle being there all day. And maybe not at holiday time. Man it was so crowded - but maybe there never is a not super crowded time. It's just kind of annoying and I wish they wouldn't let so many people in but it's all about the green, I guess. Oh well. We really did have a great time and the kids couldn't say if they liked Mexico or Disney better, so I guess that's a win! Hope they appreciate it all!
