Snowbasin hike

We got a good few hikes in this fall. Kind of all in a week period. Much to Harvey's chagrin. He has not caught the love of hiking bug yet - although he always has fun. When we decided to turn around Greta was beside herself. She wanted to keep going. I love that. Lottie did great on this one too! I can't believe I'd never been on this trail before. I had heard of it, Green Pond, just never made it up there and I couldn't believe how amazing it was! Such a cool hike. SOOOO pretty and with the fall leaves I was just dying the whole time. The weather was perfect too.

This is about where we decided to turn around (so we could go get shakes at Burger Stop, duh). But it took us like 6 takes to try and get everyone smiling and looking and figuring out the timing with the smile/timer stuff. It was pretty comical and the kids were so annoyed. We still didn't hit perfection, but it's a good looking bunch, either way.

Happy happy day! Until we were stuck in the canyon FOREVER because a big huge truck crashed and threw hay bails all over the road. That was kind of a mess, but we made it to burger stop and I got to work on time ( I had to go in at 9pm that night).
