Preston and Nat invited us up to Pineview on Labor Day to hang out and go out on their boat. It was a super fun day! We drove up through the North Ogden canyon and there were some hot air balloons coming down the other side and the kids demanded I take a picture. Here it is :) It was pretty cool, but the pictures didn't look as cool.
We went out on the boat pretty soon after we got there and Harvey was brave to be the first one to try the surfing.
He was pretty brave until he started looking down at the waves, then he didn't want to do it anymore...until later. I don't think we got more pictures, but a few videos of Mitt getting him up on his shoulders. I was pretty impressed with Mitt's skills.
Tanner did pretty amazing.
Lotttie also decided to try it with minimal coercion. I was quite impressed. We got some smiles and thumbs up but she also was pretty nervous and crying. I put a lot of pictures in here because her many facial expressions are great.
I was terrible. Tried a million times and barely got up twice for a couple of seconds. Oh well, at least I tried.
Lottie tried again and against her wishes, Mitt put her on his shoulders. Greta took a little more convincing, but she tried it. And with similar results. Some smiles, but also kind of scared.
It was fun playing on the beach too. It was perfectly hot; great lake weather.
Harv rounded up the boys for a little baseball. All in all it was a perfect day. So much fun!
