John Denver

Tanner is a winner and always finds these great shows and such and acts on them at appropriate times so we don't miss out on some great experiences. He asked me about this one months before and thought my parents would love it too. It was a tribute to John Denver with the Utah Symphony and Jim Curry (who looks and sounds VERY similar). The concert was at Deer Valley. It was AMAZING! We grabbed some Maddox chicken on the way down, met them at the mouth of Parley's and rode up with them in my mom's fancy new Rav 4 :) It was such a perfect setting. The ambiance was great. Perfect for John Denver. The music was awesome. We ate and played some games while we waited and just hung out. It was real nice when the sun went down to wear jackets and cozy up with some blankets - after it has been so dang hot all summer.

Heather and Shane are saints and took our kids for us. We dropped them off at about 3 or 4 and then headed up. They kept them overnight and Tanner picked them up the next morning. They were in heaven! They love aunt Heather and uncle Shane! Harvey's favorite part was nintendo game, Lottie's was watching a movie and Greta's was getting nail pampering :) All in all a fun night for everyone. And maybe a less relaxing one for aunt and uncle.
