Farmington Canyon

This little hike is quickly becoming one of my absolute favorite family jaunts - if it's in the fall. It's great not in fall, but it CAN NOT be beat with these leaves! We were going to do it with some friends but then everyone bailed and I told Tanner he should come with us and he did and it was awesome! These pictures are at least 10x less amazing than real life. It was so fun. Harvey was a little bummed to be hiking initially but after some good ol' subway and a little bit into it, he cheered up. The girls were just skipping along the trail and chatting and talking non stop. No complaints and they all hiked the whole way. It was so so so awesome, an absolutely perfect crisp afternoon.

An Ariel rock. Ahh ah ahhhhh....

Lottie and her poses...both girls really.

There's a smashed car in those trees up there but you can't see it great from the picture. The cars are their favorite parts.

This could have been a perfect picture but I can't even remember why Lottie was so mad. And Greta was mad that she was slipping down - and she didn't want to keep both legs up. So it was very forced and strained.
The waterfall is down a very steep slope with a rope. Last fall I got Harvey and Greta down but this time they didn't want to try. I went down and snapped a few photos and then we headed back down.

The lighting on the way back was phenomenal too!

I had to block the sun so you could see the cool trees better. I was carrying a hundred leaves I was gathering on the way down.

Lots more precious handholding pics...

Lottie's turn for Ariel.

This Earth is amazing. And fall is the best season ever.
