Another successful Niedermann campout in the books! We did Fish Lake again and it was SO fun. I decided I just love that place. I'd be okay with that being a repeat every year. My kids love it too. It's just a great mix of a lot of fun things. We had lots of lake time. We did go after breakfast usually and then we got rain and cool in the afternoons. These pics aren't totally in order...but it works.
We had delicious food the whole time. Hobo's are my absolute fav.
And this was a big hit too! Sugar cones with mini marshmallows and various flavors of chocolate chips in foil and cooked in coals.
One afternoon when it was a bit breezy and cold, we decided to go get ice cream. Ha. Wish it had been warmer but it was still fun and delicious.
We headed back to the lake in the evenings for skipping rocks and just enjoying the water.
We laughed so much at Garrett's photo bomb.
Brooke and Jake had found a cool little creek/trail and so we went there one afternoon when it was too cold for the lake. It was AMAZING. These pictures are backwards cause we did the river and trees first and then this open area. But it was the best part of the trip I think. The kids had so much fun exploring and this open field was so beautiful and cool looking and it was like being in Scotland or something. And the kids were all moo-ing back and forth with the cows. So fun.
They also all PLAYED and PLAYED in their hammocks. Sooo much time spent in them. And I think 3/5 fell out and cried at some point.
And Harvey was accidentally struck in the neck with a bb.
Just a dream all around.
