Misc July

Started off the fun month with a concert at Usana - Chris Stapleton. It's kind of fortuitous that we even got to go. Tanner had tickets 2+ years ago but because of Covid, it got bumped several times. Well, it was supposed to be in June this year and Tanner was on a golf trip and I was in Arizona so we tried to sell the tickets. But then he got Covid and had to postpone it a week later. The person didn't want the tickets and we were free and were able to go! It was really fun! I didn't love the opening people that much...can't even remember who they were, but Chris was awesome. Good show!

Some more North Shore. (Since it's September as I'm catching up on stuff, I can say this - that we definitely did NOT use our passes like I thought we would. Definitely a waste buying them. I don't think Tanner went once. We certainly got TONS of sun and swimming time in this summer, just not much at North Shore. Harvey didn't love it and it was always pretty crowded. We won't get passes next year - probably just go a few times). But the kids definitely liked it a lot more when friends came with! This is Ryah from the ward.

Towards the end of July, we had a free day and so I last minute asked if Laura wanted to meet up - trying to squeeze in all the time we can with them before they moved. She was free, and Julie even was up for it so we met at this park and played with cousins for a few hours. It was fun!

Tanner's work buddy and Harvey's ski buddy invited us over to his dad's house to swim one day. Sweet backyard and we love swimming!

Desert Star with Clare and Berrie! Legally Brunette I think was this one. It was a good time. We love going!

Kids got their hair dyed temporarily by Aunt Nat while I was coming home from ND. Ha. They loved it and I think Lottie is a natural pink haired child. It really suited her. Harvey had pink hair too and Greta had a few blue streaks.

We had this tent set up for about a week up on the landing. It was mostly fun and sometimes annoying ;)

Activity days - bow and arrow shooting. I think Harvey had fun, but he's kind of a pill sometimes with activity days. I would have thought he'd just love it, but he kind of fights going. We have tons of boys in the ward that are his age, but most of his good friends aren't even in the ward. Guess we'll see how this year goes.

A good friend from the ward, Denise Kelly and her daughter Sophie helped us out a bunch of days while I was in Arizona this summer. They took them to ride their horse. So fun! So grateful for all the great people around us.

Raptors Baseball!!! First Ogden baseball game. Hope we do lots more of these! It was so great and a fun game to watch. The kids loved high fiving the players as they passed. It got kind of breezy at the end and Lottie HATES the wind so she kind of freaked out, but she was tired...as you will see.

Garage project! We had been talking about these pallet walls for basically most of our house building process. Finally got the wood and time to start working on it. Stay tuned for next month to see the AMAZING finished projects!!
