Niederhauser vacation. Part 1

Almost a year ago exactly this trip idea was born. Clare and Berrie brought it up while we were at dinner celebrating their anniversary. It's crazy that it's already come and gone now! We weren't even pregnant at that time and ended up having a tiny extra human to take with us :) We ended up renting a car because Tanner didn't really think we should drive the van and the car seats don't all fit in the Subaru. It worked out pretty darn nicely. We got upgraded to a Lincoln Navigator at no extra charge and it was so sweet. And even with the space we were still loaded to the gills and had the Thule topper on. The tiniest human added the most bulk to our packing! We left Thursday later afternoon and made it to St. George that evening. We stayed 2 nights at Grandma Elaine's condo. The rest of the crew joined us there (in St. George) at varying times on Friday.

We spent a little time in the morning at Thunder Junction All Abilities Park. It was super cool and we would have stayed longer but Greta was ORNERY!!! Oh boy. She needed a nap stat, so we left kind of soon ish and put her down. We ordered pizza that night and everyone watched the World Series. The next morning we met at McDonald's for a delicious breakfast, haha, and then were on the road! The kids really did great. Especially Lottie. She just slept the whole time! Ate at lunch time with everyone else (at In and Out in Barstow) and then continued sleeping.

I love his expressions in these. Man he gets so excited about things and just lets it show and I hope it never changes!
