Laura and I had been talking about getting up Adam's Canyon this fall while the girls were in preschool. We finally made it happen. I had to borrow a pack for Lottie because we sold ours awhile ago. She normally doesn't need one but we had a time crunch and it's a little bit of a harder hike. She did awesome in the carrier. I didn't do as awesome with the carrier. It was HARD! We had done this hike not that long ago and she made it SIGNIFICANTLY more difficult. It was so beautiful though. The weather was absolutely perfect. Pretty leaves, water, good exercise, good company, just perfection really.
We didn't stay too long at the top because we realized we only had like 45 minutes or something till we had to get the girls. Oops. So we kind of booked it down. Lottie started freaking out a ways down and so I ended up carrying her for a good chunk of the end which was zero fun. Hard to kind of brisk walk/jog with her. Especially down sandy switchbacks. Oh well. We made it down and we were only 5 minutes late getting girls. Totally worth it!!
