The much anticipated day of departure finally arrived! Everyone was so dang excited leading up to this moment. We booked our trip in June. My parents showed some interest in coming if we decided to really do it, and so when we got our tickets, we invited them and they were all in. It was soooo fun to have them with us and the kids loved all the special gram and pop attention! This was G's first time on a plane, and Harvey hadn't been on one since Mexico, so he didn't remember much. They were so excited. All these pictures are blurry cause Greta just couldn't contain herself. She was running and squealing all over the place. Lottie was a bit tricky. It was a late flight that had some delays and so she was SOOOO tired. But refused to fall asleep. So she was mighty active and busy the whole flight and only wanted my dad. None of the kids wanted either Tanner or I the whole trip. Haha.
Tanner got a new phone right before we left and took some fun pictures :) Harvey had to bring Chase with on the trip.
They got some new headphones so they could watch movies on the plane. They thought that was pretty dang cool. They were AWESOME on all the flights.
Go time!!!
We stayed at the Lego Land hotel and it was so cool. Such fun little details and tons of lego people and things all over the place, plus a bunch of places full of bricks to just be able to play with. Harvey was in heaven and was constantly just wanted to go build.
Our room was really cool. It was a "suite" so there were two queen beds, but one was a crappy hide-a-bed that my parents insisted on being the ones to use. I felt real bad about that. Otherwise it was sweet. They had a box of bricks you could play with in the hotel and there was a treasure chest that had prizes in it both nights. One night was some lego guy masks and the next night were a handful of banana lego figurines.
I don't think I got a picture of this - but they also had a woopie cushion in the carpet near the elevators that we walked past several times a day. You jumped on the spot of carpet and it made 4-5 different fart noises. That was probably the highlight of the hotel. Haha. The kids wanted to do it all the time and every time we left the room, Greta would get super excited and bounce up and down saying she wanted to do the "TOOTIE THING!"
