Misc April

Conference Sunday we hosted dinner for the family because Nick and Kathryn had just gotten into town and no one but my parents had met him. So it was fun to hang out with him a little before the wedding. It was a fun get together! He is great. I really really like him. And am just so happy for them!
Greta got into some dress up mode during the party too, apparently.

Loving on some nutella crepes!

I love this picture. He's a dedicated little soul. Can't wait to see what things he does with that determination.

And he loves his doggy!

An after dance hang out with Laura. We walked to the park by their house. Lovely. We are ready for summer!

Trying on my boots and despite the blurriness, she has the cutest little face.

And she has an adorable face too!

Crazy hair and a bit emotional but her cheeks and eyes are just the best.

She requested I put this on her, and then asked me to put a shirt on over it. Haha.

Cutest little girls waving bye bye

Trying to be creative with her hair...
This is the insert to my sports bra. They were putting it on and it was appropriate because I think it was taken near Passover. But she wasn't cooperating with looking for the camera.

The positions we find the kids sleeping in never ceases to amaze me. This matchy matchy sprawl squared is one of my personal favorites.
Tanner texted me one night and said to make sure I saw the note on my pillow. He told me that Harvey came downstairs asking how to spell things and made this note all on his own. My heart about exploded when I saw the envelope and opened it up. Best. Thing. EVER! Seriously. There haven't been many more fulfilling mom moments.

One picture of her not liking this swing when we went to a park while Greta was at dance.
We joined Laura for a inner city hike. I LOVE this trail. It's one of my favorite places. So close and feels so naturey and when the creek is running, it's so awesome. Bair Creek in Kaysville. Awesome. Although we had some great melt downs with the littles (mostly mine). So it ended up being a little stressful for me but it was pretty glorious to be out and Lottie stopped by the creek every time she saw it and yelled "waters!!!" And they all loved throwing rocks. But got a little tired walking back.

She did NOT want to join in the picture. Hahaha.

Sometimes I'm a cool mom. Most of the time lately I feel like I'm just grumpy and impatient and unwilling to play the games and such that the kids want to. Ugh. At least I can make a sweet fort that they think is awesome. They slept in it a few times. It was fun reading stories in there at night :)

We took advantage of a Sunday off and invited ourselves to my parents to hang out after church. We colored more eggs and had delicious dinner and just enjoyed hanging out.

I watched a couple kids in our ward and they came with us to a park. Great family - just had their 6th kid and were moving that week too. I'm glad I've been able to pay it forward a little bit lately. Usually it seems I'm always the one asking for and needing help. They all had so much fun playing together.

Another cool mom moment. Haha. Made slime for Harvey. He played with this for like an hour. It was amazing. Then he wanted to do it the next day too and played with it forever then as well. Greta lost interest pretty quickly on day one.

And I danced with the girls for a little while too - so I'm not all bad. Haha. These girls are about the cutest dancers that ever were!
Oh my heck. This is the funniest thing. Tanner and I were watching a movie in our room and I thought I heard something out in the hall - I assumed it was Greta trying to get us to go to the bathroom. I waited a few minutes and then went to check and this is what I found. Light was on, she was sprawled out SNORING like crazy. I laughed for awhile and made Tanner come look. And then I got her up and she said she needed to go to the bathroom. She fell asleep on the toilet in like 2 seconds. Fell into my shoulder and was snoring again (she has giant tonsils and snores horribly and stops breathing frequently when she sleeps). She never went and fell asleep several times while I was trying to wake her to get her to go pee. So then I just put her back in bed.
Gosh dang she's cute. My mom made that dress for Greta. Pretty cute comparison too!
