We got the condo again this year and split it up a little. Well, I guess very little. Heather and Shane took it for a night and then it was empty for a couple and then we had it Wednesday thru Saturday. Our regular Park Plaza pushed us off to a different resort because there are some major pool renovations happening there. We stayed at the Sweetwater Lift lodge. The room was much tinier than what we usually get at Park Plaza and the pool was heated but outdoors, but still kind of chilly. The hot tub was sweet. We went to the girls dance in the morning and then headed out. This is Lottie saying she is trying to not suck her fingers.
This was like 10 minutes later. Haha. Not sure how we are going to kick this habit.
A new place to explore and be crazy in! They love it!The first day we went over to the ski museum for a little bit. The major thing they were interested in (the little ski ball game thing) was in the remodel area so they couldn't do it. We still had fun.
Got some redbox movies, always fun in a hotel room.
Thursday night we wandered around the outlets and then went to see Clifford the Big Red Dog. Harvey had kind of complained of a headache around the outlets and was acting kind of off but then said he felt fine when we went to the movie. When it was almost over he really started complaining of a headache. I gave him medicine as soon as we got to the car but he just cried and cried on the way home and a few minutes after we got home he went in the bathroom and BARFED....all over. Like half of it got in the toilet. It was all over the seat and floor and splashed up on the side of the tub. SO GROSS. He put my sunglasses on and passed out super early without eating anything that night. He was much better the next day. Poor little guy.
Lottie dancing in front of the blowing heater.
We got lots of pool time in.
Harvey was also loving the little gym they had and wanted to go down there like every moment.
We got a lot of UNO in too. Friday evening we wandered main street killing time before Brooke and Jake came up. They came up for dinner and swimming and it was so much fun!
Not the greatest pictures but it was such a fun night and a good distraction from just our same faces :)
We tried a few little mindfulness meditations to try and calm down for night time. Harvey insisted on sitting like this for them. haha.
Looks comfy huh?
So grateful we got this little getaway and that dad could come too for the whole time! So fun!
