Show of Gratitude

Illume does a such an amazing job with all their performances. They have done a show of gratitude ever since they started - a performance that tries to focus on service and helping the community. This year they did a book drive and all the dances were based off of popular children's books. They had a bunch of little rooms that people could check out while waiting for their dance turn - binding books, illustrating, learning about writing stories, listening to stories, etc etc. It was super cute and really well put together. Just super crowded. I think they had more of a showing than they were expecting and the space just didn't fit everyone very well. The struggles and beauties of being awesome and growing so much, so fast! They girls dances were both The Very Hungry Caterpillar. And they both did AMAZING.

Greta was first and just did so great. You could tell she was nervous a little bit but she did so great. I'm so proud of her and how far she's come since we started this. She sure loves dancing!!

Note this face - Lottie has the same nervous one :)

Gram and Pop and Heather came to support! So great! Clara had her dance in there too - all at different times but each group of performances was only about 10 minutes.

Lottie was excited. All her recital experiences up to this point have been pretty motionless and super nervous. She said she was going to dance this time. And SHE DID!!! She did the whole thing and did AMAZING! I was so happy. My dad got a lot of super cute still shots that I couldn't help but save and include.

Same nervous face :)

Just too dang adorable!

Love our little dancing queens!
