My parents were doing make up for birthday sleepovers and Lottie got to do hers this month. They went to Kidstopia and she had a BLAST. Ran Pop ragged.
Playing with her slime sand. Hours of entertainment!
And of course, grammy has to paint the nails.
Lottie got to have a little spotlight this month since her birthday is in the summer. Cute little super Lottie!
Not sure what's going on here. I think she asked me to take a picture. Looks like a selfie stick.
She put her duck feet in her boots. Haha.
The day we came back from Park City we stopped up in North Ogden so we could hike up to The Major. We wanted to do it last year and never made it up and one Wednesday we were going to try but I think I probably didn't have it in me. So that Saturday was going to be the last day it was up. And we found out about halfway up that they were starting to take it down so we were stressing about it. But we got up in plenty of time to see it flying and it was kind of cool to see the technique they were using to get it down. And a few planes flew down and out of the canyon as we were hiking up which was really cool too. It was a beautiful day and the kids did great. It was a little over a mile up.
It's the largest free flying US flag in the world. Fancy huh? It's only up for a couple of weeks around Veteran's Day. It's a memorial for the Mayor of North Ogden, Brent Taylor, who was also in the army and was in Afghanistan and was killed by one of his trainee's that was rogue. If I remember the details right. His death day is also during the window the flag is up. Also a memorial for all military members who have died. It's really cool. So glad we made it up.
Cute little dancers practicing for their recital.
Having fun at Annie's!
Getting their first covid shots. They both did awesome actually! Greta cried more leading up to it than from the actual shot. Harvey didn't shed a tear which was a shocker. He said he couldn't wait till the next one.
A little park time when we had some decent weather.
Play "pass"...all he has wanted to do lately.
Theeee cutest shopping helpers ever.
Tanner sent me this picture of the girls before he went to bed while I was at work. I peeked at them when I got home to see if they had moved or gotten in to their own beds...
And this is how they were. Oh my heck, I about died!!! The most precious picture of ever.
I love Greta's artwork these days. She's quite good and just loves making pictures.
And we still sure miss our pup! He's doing good but I don't think Gram and Pop will be too sad to hand him back off to us ;)
